This is the original splash page art to Strange Adventures #129 by Murphy Anderson. These photos do not show the dramatic change that was wrought over this piece. It was obviously rolled at one time and then smashed and then flattened by being stacked away over time. It had a water stain along the length of the left edge. I cleaned the stain and then uniformly flattened the entire piece. There were several pieces of tape that needed to be removed: one between the legs of the foremost knight, three which were holding the "Strange Adventures" stat in place, two at the right margin area, and two at each of the bottom corners. I also hand drew the logo stat in Corel Draw and then put it through the "ageing" process to make it look more authentic. This piece took 9 hours to complete.
