Documentation of Restoration on cover art to Little Max #1

total time: 15 hours

1. Locate and reproduce missing cover art to comics hanging in Max’s newsstand.
2. Recreate the logo, icons, and text blurbs.
3. Diminish glue stains.
4. Add a similarly weighted and toned paper extension at the top with removable Japanese paper and watercolor.
5. Have photographic stats for all cover elements made in the darkroom and then tonally “aged” to match the two original comic cover stats hanging at the bottom of Max’s newsstand.
