This is the original cover art to Invaders #2 by John Romita. Romita would typically place a piece of velum over the original pencil art (as with this one by Rich Buckler) and then ink it to be used for the final cover production art. I removed the slightly oversized amatuer copy machine stat reproduction and replaced it with a more tonally unifying one that is void of the grey tones making it more like the original stats. I also carefully removed the tape from the bottom left corner and removed the stain near the middle of the right edge. This piece took approximately 7 hours to complete.
