This is the original page 10 art to Giant-Size Manthing #2 by John Buscema. I cleaned the printer's grease stains that were present in nearly every panel. You'll note that the red "file" stamp title at the top margin was faded during the process. As red ink, and especially, stamp pad ink is susceptible to all cleaning processes, I anticipated this but felt that the positive affects on the rest of the piece far outweighed this one negative. As there are no solutions that will remove dried glue without harming the original ink or pencil illustrations, I diminished the glue at the top margin with watercolor. This piece took approximately 2 hours to complete.
