This excellent cover art to Flash Gordon #2 is probably drawn by Al Avison. This is such a nice piece that I felt the image beneath the production borders warrented the intense work required to diminish the solid layer of glue stains that were present. I also removed all of the white out across the image when I discovered that the very light original pencil roughs were underneath! I then drew the title logo in Corel Draw and reproduced the stats. I also hand painted the space ship icon with india ink. This piece took approximately 12 hours to complete.
